During their years, they brought home some lovely antiques and acquired many pieces from their parents and grandparents alike.They both loved beautiful furniture, china and art.Our dad was a big collector of fine china and unique mason jars and our mom often was hands on finishing up furniture, recaneing chairs and making stained glass.They brought back some very interesting pieces from their stay in Iran in the 70's that graced their home for 50 yrs.
