Meet Mose TolliverMose Tolliver (19202006) was a self-taught folk artist from Alabama whose imaginative and vibrant paintings portraying birds, flowers, people, and whimsical figures captured hearts across the folk-art world. Despite leaving school in the third grade, Tollivers artistic vision flourished after a disabling work accident, leading him to paint on plywood with house paint. His signature style, often signed "Mose T" (notably with a backward "S"), became instantly recognizable and beloved.
