Mount Joy, PA 17552 Hess Auction Group is pleased to offer the collection of the late James Hoffman of Mt. Joy, Pennsylvania. James was an ironworker and welder who loved muscle cars, the Pittsburgh Steelers and collecting. He was a member of the local Vagabonds Car Club and the Elizabethtown Historical Society. Highlights include: McCormick-Deering 1 1/2 HP Hit & Miss Engine, Rare Nissly Cocoa Sample Advertising Tin from Florin, PA, A 1930s Hersheys Advertising Sign, an early wood sign from the Garden Spot Restaurant advertising Chicken and Waffles, great selection of antique advertising signs & thermometers from Elizabethtown, Mt. Joy & Rheems, milk bottles & boxes from local Lancaster County dairies, beer bottles & labels from Bubes Brewery, Mt. Joy, large collection of E.S. & B Crocks, both doors with advertising from a Spicklers Dairy 1930s Delivery Truck, Historic Landmark Sign Eating Tree, Buch wheelbarrows, farm equipment and more! Hess Auction would like to thank Bonita, Dale and the Hoffman family for their willingness to share James collection and for entrusting Hess to sell his collection to the next caretakers of history.
