In some cases, items that are fragile or too big for our shipper to handle, we work the Box & Go in Springfield to package and ship items. There may be a $5, $10 or $15 handling fee per item depending on the size of your package and supplies require to pack your items for safe shipping. We do our best to keep rates low. Please allow an estimated 5-10 business days after the PICKUP date for shipping. Acceptable forms of payment are Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Debit Card, Cash or Check.The auction is a soft close auction which means that it starts to close at the time stated, however it is a staggered close meaning the entire auction does not close out at the time stated. If it is set to close at 7:00 p.m. the first lot will not close if someone has placed a bid in the last 3 minutes, then this item will stay open for 3 more minutes. This will continue until time is out. All lots will continue this way pick-up and removal of any items you may win at this auction. LEGAL: This Agreement is made pursuant to the provisions of Section 4(b) of the IllinoisFire Protection District Act (70 ILCS 705/4(b)) in recognition of the fact that BenLadage, a principal of Auctioneer, is a Trustee of District. Auctioneer may charge a Buyers Premium on each item sold by the onlineauction to defray the cost of advertising and expenses related to the auction. In thatcase, Auctioneer will account to District for the excess of the Buyers Premium over theactual out of pocket auction expenses incurred by Auctioneer to conduct the auctionand that excess, if any, will be remitted to District by Auctioneer so that Auctioneer willreceive no compensation or return from the auction sale.It is agreed and understood that the purpose of this Agreement is to comply withthe provisions of Section 4(b) of the Fire Protection District by memorializing thearrangement between Auctioneer and District and to demonstrate compliance with theexception provided by Section 4(b) regarding transactions between a fire protectiondistrict and one of its trustees.Your bidding is greatly appreciated.
