The focus has been to provide children living with type 1 diabetes the opportunity to enjoy an authentic camp experience in a medically accommodating environment, with a dedicated team of professionals. Campers get the chance to meet and interact with other children and staff living with type 1 diabetes, and many of these relationships develop into lifelong friendships with others facing similar challenges.
