Mid-Century Modern Bronze Steer Table Sculpture

Lot # 242

Featured in this lot is a very unique Mid-Century Modern style original bronze sculpture of an abstract Steer. The bull sculpture has a beautiful finish and works as a perfect interior accent piece. The piece shows a clay like molded appearance and is crafted of an art bronze. The piece shows a flat back which could be used as either a work of art sculpture or as a piece of furniture. It weighs approx. 32 lbs. and measures 39" L x 17" T x 12" W. The smooth top surface of the sculpture, as well as the sheen and shape of the piece, give it some modern aspects that highlight its elegance as a piece of art. This sculpture is in good condition, showing some small scuffs and wear. The piece was previously valued from a gallery at over $2,500. The artist and origin are unknown, added to the overall mystique of the item.
