BIDDING STARTS - TUESDAY, SEPT. 21ST at 6:00 p.m. for the Kearney Police Department & City of Kearney surplus liquiation auction. Register now! Online consignment auction will run from Tuesday, September 21st to Monfday October 4th at 7 p.m. CST. One lot will end every 15 seconds beginning at 7 p.m. Please note a buyer's Premium of 15% will be added to all purchases.****PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY BEFORE BIDDING***Pick up will be TUESDAY, October 5th as follows (NO EXCEPTIONS):KPD IMPOUND VEHICLES from 11 am - 4 pm YANNEY PARK from 1 pm - 5 pmTCAC KEARNEY from 12 pm - 6 pmAuction items shall be publicized a minimum of 10 days prior to the item being available for sale. NOTICE: Vehicles and property sent to auction may be claimed by the owner no later than 4 pm the day bidding starts. Once bidding starts, vehicles and property can no longer be claimed and will be sold to the highest bidder. By claiming the vehicle or property, the owner will be required to pay all fees associated with the vehicle or property before released, otherwise the vehicle or property will return to the auction process.****ATTENTION BIDDER****VEHICLES SOLD AT AUCTION ARE STORED IN A SECURED POLICE IMPOUND LOT. THE FOLLOWING WILL APPLY AFTER THE VEHICLES ARE SOLD:-Jump starting and inflating of tires is allowed for safe and quick removal.-All other repairs, including locksmith services will have to be done after the vehicle is removed from the impound lot.-Buyer will be responsible to arrange for towing of vehicle from Police Impound Lot and all related expenses.-Tows need to be arranged in advance of vehicle pick up.-The Kearney Police Department has arranged for personnel to be available the day after the auction ends from 11 AM to 4PM for the release of vehicles purchased at auction.-Buyers will obtain sale documentation from Tri-City Auction, provide documentation to Records Staff at the Law Enforcement Center and then be directed to the impound lot to obtain the vehicle.A paid receipt is required to pick up vehicles. The name shown on the paid receipt for a vehicle or equipment will be the name listed on the vehicles title (No exceptions allowed). Buyers of vehicles will be required to bring signed title, receipt, and photo ID to the KPD in order to pick vehicles up. Buyer will be directed to the pick up location at that time. Any buyer who does not pick up vehicles in the alloted time frame will be charged an additional impound fee by the Kearney Police Department. All property sold by the Kearney Police Department is sold "as is" with no warranties or guarantees of any kind by the City of Kearney. Buyers must provide enough man power to load items themselves. Any and all methods of lifting, towing, and hauling, as well as removal are the sole responsibility of the buyer. The ownership of any and all items not removed by the final pick up day will revert back to the City of Kearney.
