Due to the volume, all consignments are due on or before Feb. 25th.Live Auction: Saturday, March 7th at 9:00 a.m. at Bontrager's Auction Center, 8975 Wortendyke Rd., Batavia, NY 14020.Online Pre-Bidding: Saturday, February 20th at 9 a.m. through Friday, March 6th at 4 p.m. All bidding will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 6th.Successful internet pre-bids will be brought to the live auction on Saturday, March 7th, and treated as absentee bids. Winning an online pre-bid does not guarantee that you have won the bid in the live auction. You will be notified via email or phone call following the live auction if your bid is still successful after the live auction. Online bidders should watch their email for notification. If you think you may have won an online bid and did not receive notification, please check your email inbox and Spam folder before calling our office at 585-343-4529.Live Preview: Friday, March 6th: 4-6 p.m. at Bontrager's Auction Center.Bidders who attend the live auction on Saturday, March 7th, and who bid on firearms, will be required to produce driver's license ID, plus pistol permit (required for handgun purchase) and pass a NICS 4473 background check. Background checks will be completed on the premises during the live auction at no additional cost. Our auction company does background checks for black powder rifles. Successful online bidders will have credit cards billed at the close of the auction. Online bidders will be subject to 13% buyer's premium for credit card, cash, or check purchase. (Pre-bids will be brought to the live auction on Saturday, March 7th, and treated as absentee bids. Winning pre-bids does not guarantee that you have won the bid in the live auction. Local online firearms purchasers who are picking up their merchandise must pass a NICS 4473 background check which will be administered at Bontrager's Auction Center on Monday, March 9th between 5-7 p.m.Out of state/area online firearms purchasers who are having their merchandise shipped to an FFL must make arrangements with the FFL of their choice and send that information to todd@bontragerauction.com so that shipping arrangements may be made. You will be required to pass a NICS 4473 background check with the FFL before your firearm can be shipped. Anyone who does not pass a NICS 4473 background check will not be able to purchase a firearm. If you have already won the bid on a firearm and subsequently do not pass the background check, you will not be able to complete the sale of the firearm, and the firearm will be sold to another bidder in an upcoming auction. All merchandise bought online must be picked up or shipping arrangements made before Monday, March 13th.
