Get Ready for a music and memorabilia collection like no other! Mary Jo is a lady that loves music of all kinds, especially the hard rockin kind. She is a long devoted fan of Seattle band Pearl Jam and especially of the lead singer Eddie Vedder. She has said that she "didn't find true love until she was 55" when she discovered this monumentally influential band. This was in 1992!! For her, it was about the music and that spoke to her heart & soul, the lyrics and pureness of Vedders vocals spoke to her. Pearl Jam emerged in 1991 onto the Seattle music scene. Mary Jo has always been a bit of an anomely within the Pearl Jam fan community. Founders and Members of Ten Club, the Official Pearl Jam Fan Club know her well and love her as well as fans that would seek her out at a show to take a picture with her. Along with Mary Jo's Pearl Jam collection of music, tapes, cds, fan club items and some incredibly rare imported music, concert tees and memorabilia, also comes a bit of sadness. Mary Jo has enjoyed this collection immensely but knows the sale of these treasures will benefit the length of stay in her retirement care facility.
