Costumes, outfits and memorabilia of note in Session One include Star Wars’ Queen Amidala, a Christmas Elf, Domino’s Pizza, California Raisin, Superman, Kim Jong Un, Dan Felter Park Ranger outfit, 268th and 1000th Late Show props, Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, Paul Shaffer Glasses, Martin Short NSA sequined letters, crocodile full face mask.

Clothing and costumes include David Letterman suit, Paul Shaffer suit, Letterman lab coat, US Postal Service uniforms, Hunting, Fishing and Military garb and gear, Goat skin boots, Mexican Sombreros and serapes.


“Late Night with David Letterman” was one of the most iconic, watched late-night television variety shows. Over thirty-one seasons and two different iterations, news-making guests, leading actors, entertainers, athletes, politicians and “ordinary news makers”, interacted with Letterman on the show's sets.


A rare opportunity to own items associated with Late Night With David Letterman / The Late Show With David Letterman as seen on-air during over 5000 episodes from 1982 to 2015.

The auction includes items worn by the cast, worn by guests, items used in skits, as well as items purchased as inventory for the department but never used (New with/without tags). Late Night With David Letterman and The Late Show w With David Letterman were ranked as #41 on TV Guide's 60 Best Series of All Time.

Contents of the department were purchased by the consignor after the final show aired in March 2015. All items selling to the highest bidder. Items sold in "as found" condition. All sales are final.
