Please call 260-441-8636, option 0, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22nd, to schedule an appointment for THURSDAY pickup OR email us with preferred pickup time at info@smauctioneers.com. 1) Payment Methods. Scheerer McCulloch accepts cash, wired funds, or the credit/debit card registered on the bidder's account in hibid.com ("Hibid") at time of auction registration. It is the bidder's responsibility to make certain the card on file at the time of registration is current, usable and not expired. 2) Credit Card Policy. Scheerer accepts only the credit card registered through Hibid. Bidders paying with this method will be charged the current Hibid credit card processing fee in addition to buyer's premium, sales tax & bid price. It is the bidder's responsibility to make certain the card on file at the time of registration is current, usable and not expired. 3) Personal Check Policy. Personal checks will be accepted only if credit has been established with Scheerer McCulloch. Items paid for by check may be held by Scheerer McCulloch for 10 business banking days. The purchaser agrees to pay Scheerer McCulloch a handling charge of $35 for any check dishonored by the drawee. 4) Winning bidder agrees to pay Scheerer McCulloch the full amount of the winning bid amount, the buyer's premium and sales tax (unless a sales tax exemption form is provided to Scheerer McCulloch) on or before the day of the scheduled pickup. If the winning bidder has requested shipping, then the winning bidder further agrees to pay a $30.00 packing, shipping materials and handling fee, plus costs of shipping and insurance per box. Scheerer McCulloch will make its best effort to combine winning lots into one (1) box if possible. Bidders who have not paid by the date of the scheduled pickup will be charged through their registered credit/debit card the day of the pickup day. If the winning bidder's credit card is declined and does not pay for the winning lot(s), Scheerer McCulloch will report the user to Hibid. This may result in a permanent ban from Hibid. Scheerer McCulloch reserves its rights and remedies to recoup its fees. Bidders who do not pick up items on the day of the pickup but have paid for the items will have 3 business days to pick up, make arrangements to pick up or ship the items before the auctioneer considers the item abandoned. The appropriate Buyers Premium is applied to winning bid(s). Credit Card Convenience Fee is the current Hibid credit card processing fee. Bidders must inspect items before leaving the premises. Requirements to bid: -Bidder must be older than 21 and have a valid driver's license. -If the bidder is paying with check or credit/debit, bidder agrees to wait 10 days after payment is made to pick up the vehicle. -If paying with cash, vehicle will be released at the time of payment. Instructions after winning: Make payment at The Lantern with a valid ID Depending on payment: - Personal Check or Cashier's Check - Auction company will deposit the check the next business day. Once 10 days have passed, vehicle will be available for pickup. - Credit/debit/- Once 10 days have passed, vehicle will be available for pickup. - Cash - Vehicle will be released at the time of payment. - Winning bidder will need to provide proof of insurance on vehicle at time of pickup. - Vehicle, title and keys will not be released without proof of insurance is provided.
