Welcome to the Hamilton County Community Fair 2020 Livestock Auction! In partnership with Hamilton County 4-H we are proud to offer for sale market animals the 4-H members have raised as part of their 4-H project. Bidding will be open from July 3rd to July 9th. The funds 4-H members raise from this auction will be used to help the youth cover the cost of raising their animals, plan for future projects, add to their college fund and so much more. This is also a terminal auction, meaning that all animals offered in this auction must be sent to the processor. All animals must be processed by the processor selected by The Community Fair Sale Committee or sent to the pre-arranged packer. The winning bidder of each lamb, goat, and hog will have two options: 1. Pay Premium Only option - pay only your premium bid. The meat will be purchase by the packer. (For Example: If you are the high bidder at $500 or only pay $500 if you do not want the meat from the animal.) 2, Meat in Freezer option - If the winning bidder wants the meat from their purchase the packer price will be added to their winning bid. The Bidder will also be responsible to pay the processing cost directly to the processor. Cost for a hog will be approximately $1.00 per pound. For lambs and goats it is a flat fee of $125.00 each. All animals will be processed by the Chop Shop between July 16th - July 24th. Winning bidders will be notified of their processing date.
