HAS CONVERTABLE TOP AS WELL AS BOOT TO COVER COCKPIT. 4 SPEED MANUAL TRANS.This extremely well preserved 1989 BMW 325i in Cinnabar Red has been owned by one family since its purchase new from Centennial Imports in Eugene, Oregon. It was immediately shipped to Los Angeles as a wedding gift from the sellers stepfather to the sellers mother. She used it as a daily driver in California for years until she moved it to Massachusetts for a short time until her death. The seller inherited it in May of 2002. He has always kept the car in a heated garage and has driven it regularly, but not in winter. Seller is not aware of any body rust, etc. Seller believes all paint to be original except that a minor fender repair was made (less than $300) which required a small amount of paint, and the black paint under the doors was renewed because it had faded. The interior is immaculate and looks like new. (The front seats were always covered with sheepskins until preparation for this sale. The back seat has rarely been used, and also looks new.) The radio malfunctioned and was replaced with a used but correct radio, which works properly. The original radio is included in the sale. The air conditioner has not been updated to current refrigerant requirements and is not functional. The heater fan only blows on high. The original manual, service books, etc., are included, as is the original tool kit (which is missing one small flat wrench), tow hook, and cassette player accessory/maintenance kit. The timing belt was replaced at 72,000 miles and the current mileage is 103,049. The car has been regularly serviced, repaired, detailed, etc. Service records will be included if desired. VIN is WBAAA2306K4494902.This 1970 MGB Roadster with wire wheels and split rear bumper (produced only one year for U.S. market) was purchased used by the sellers father, who drove it as his fun car while living in Islamorada, Florida for many years. After the sellers father passed away, the seller purchased the MGB from the sellers widow and shipped it to Indianapolis, where he titled it in September, 2004. He had a British car specialist check it out for safety, roadworthiness, etc., in June of 2005 when the car had 71,105 miles on it. Fluids were replaced, and minor repairs were made including the fan belt, several bulbs, etc. In May of 2006, with 71,208 miles on it, the seller had the clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder and hoses replaced. Shortly thereafter, the seller was driving into a driveway with a high curb and scraped off an existing patch on the gas tank. He immediately drained all fuel and parked the car in a heated garage pending repairs. Life then got in the way and the car has been sitting in that heated garage ever since. The car currently shows 71,314 miles. A new battery was installed last year and is maintained on a trickle charger. The engine turns over well, and would probably start up easily if the gas tank was repaired and filled. The electrical system has been changed to a 12 volt system. VIN is GHM5UA212966G. However, the seller has never tried to install the convertible top so he doesnt know if all hardware for the top is present.
