This will be a simulcast auction, allowing online bidding before the actual auction, with the final bidding occurring on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM, on the steps of the Martin County Courthouse, 305 E Main St, Williamston, NC 27892. You may attend the auction and bid live, or you may bid simultaneously on the Internet at 10:00 AM on July 20. A 10% Buyer's Premium will be added to the final bid on each parcel to determine the Contract Sales Price. The Wayne County Sheriff's Department is selling:"TRACT 1A commercial building and lot located at 108 NE Railroad Street, Robersonville, NC and described in Book V-21, Page 456 of the Martin County Registry."TRACT 2A residential tract of land of approximately 22 acres with deeded access and fronting Claude Green Road, Robersonville, NC. This tract includes 6 residential dwellings currently rented for an average rental of $450/month each, or approximately $32,000 per year. This property is described in Book T-22, Page 570 of the Martin County Registry."TRACTS 3 & 3aA commercial building and lot, previously known as Grimes Drug Store, located at and described in Book D-23, Page 856 of the Martin County Registry."TRACT 4A vacant lot, 101 S. The bidding will continue online until 10:00 AM, July 20, when we will accept the final bids online or in person at the Martin County Courthouse. In accordance with NC Statutes, the bid will remain open to upset for a period of 10 days from the acceptance of the closing bid. If there is an increase of the bid, during the upset period, the 10-day clock will restart. Bidding will end when there has not been an increase in the bidding for 10 consecutive days. All registered bidders will be notified of any increase in the bid during the upset period. Anyone, whether registered or not, may bid during the upset period.All lots will sell separately and will not be combined in any manner.
